Concert series, theatres, jazz clubs and more…immediate empathy and harmony happens naturally when he play with other musicians. The warm communication and exchange of great sounds between them, involves the public on an exciting journey of discovery or rediscovery, in the case of American standards. Pieces from great composer such as Gershwin, Cole Porter, Fats Waller, Irving Berlin and Duke Ellington…Nando de Luca, pianist, is a musician of international fame, conductor and arranger. He has a piano technique with colours and constantly creativity that fascinates, , very versatile, he was able to express himself in various musical genres.

After his studies at the “Conservatorio Verdi di Milano”, he played with a swing band all over Europe. Then he dedicated himself to arrangements, his first was “AZZURRO” for Adriano Celentano. He composed many pieces of music that have now become Italian evergreens; “Carezza in un pugno”, ” Storia d’amore”, ” Viola”, “Straordinariamente” and so on…his interest in movie soundtracks leads him to compose about fifteen of them.

In his performances, Nando de Luca has accompanied: Joe Venuti, Stephane Grappelli, Toots Thielemans, Astor Piazzolla ( with whom he recorded a TV Show for Swiss Television) , Lee Konitz, Tony Scott, Caterina Valente and many more..

Nando de Luca has worked many years in collaboration with Enzo Jannacci, on arrangments and concerts and he was the pianist for  the well-know italian Singer “Mina” in her concerts.

Nando de Luca have also wrote “THE MODERN PIANO” (for the Ricordi publishing house) of his method for piano.

He have represented Italy, as conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra, for a tour of concerts in Venezuela where Frank Pourcel, Burt Bacharach and Leonard Bernstein have also partecipated. Recently, with honours, was invited to play  with his Trio in Caracas, for a concert between the Symphonic Orchestra, featuring the music of Aldemaro Romero, a very famous Venezuelan composer.
